Palm Springs Boutique 891 N. Palm Canyon Drive Trina Turk Boutique an Oasis of Style in Palm Springs, California The first of three Trina Turk boutiques is housed in a 1960s Albert Frey designed building in Palm Springs, California. Opened in 2002, this swank resort interior was designed by Kelly Wearstler. The vintage/modern mix of the Wearstler interiors—combining 1970s Palm Springs style with the luxury of a vintage department store--makes a perfect showcase for the Trina Turk "California chic" line. The main retail area is restrained shades and textures of white, ecru, and reflective surfaces are accented by bursts of color provided by the prints in the clothing. Shag carpeting, pebbled tile, and floral foil wallpaper all create a neutral backdrop for Trina’s collections displayed in mirrored alcoves. Crystal beads hanging from the ceiling divide the main retail area from the back vestibule dressing rooms. The boutique stocks a selection of Trina Turk with the desert lifestyle in mind, as well as colorful menswear. Also showcased are vintage pieces with a resort flair personally selected by Trina, for both men and women. |
