Trina Turk’s Los Angeles boutique was a former feather trim factory in the 1940s, now transformed into a ladylike and airy fashion salon by Kelly Wearstler of KWID. Eighty blown glass globe light fixtures appear like large bubbles floating overhead, creating the feeling of being inside a glass of pink champagne. Luxurious modern and vintage elements, such as nude moire wallpaper, blush pink tile, inlaid patterned carpet, plaster chandeliers, circular latticework and floor-to-ceiling angled plate glass windows combine to create an enchanting but elegant atmosphere. Located one block West of The Grove along the West 3rd Street Shopping District that connects The Grove and the Beverly Center. KWID also designed the original Trina Turk boutique in Palm Springs and the Fashion Island Newport Beach location.
