Ortigia is a small Italian soap and scent company founded in Sicily by Sue Townsend. The collection is inspired by the beauty, color, and fragrance of the island, drawing on its rich landscape and layered cultural history.

Each product is formulated with natural ingredients indigenous to Sicily, including olive oil and vegetable glycerine, and is free from parabens, SLS, nickel, and silicone. The fragrances are created using traditional methods by master perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi, capturing the essence of Sicilian flowers, citrus groves, and botanicals.

All Ortigia products are made in Italy by small family-run producers, with a focus on craftsmanship and quality. The distinctive packaging, designed by Townsend, reflects the vibrant patterns and historic influences of the region.

• Always let the candle burn until its surface is totally liquid, you can then let the candle burn for a maximum of one hour.
• The layer of liquid wax should never exceed one centimetre in height.
• Do not let the candle burn to the end.
• Always trim the wick before relighting the candle.
• Never leave the candle unattended.
