Joe Cariati is an award-winning glass artist whose work spans over 30 years. As a designer, maker, and mentor, his work reflects a balance of precision and timeless beauty, shaped through years of practice and refinement.

His path into glassblowing began with a chance encounter at San Francisco State University, sparking an immediate connection to the craft. Known for its difficulty, glassblowing demands repetition and discipline, a process that continues to define his work today.

In the early 2000s, he introduced the Angelic Bottle Collection, inspired by mid-century modern design and created to fill a gap he saw in the market. That foundation expanded into decanters and barware, positioning his work within the world of interiors and collectible design.

Today, Cariati works from his Los Angeles studio, where every piece is hand-blown. His approach emphasizes movement, efficiency, and continual refinement, resulting in work that feels both modern and enduring.
