Sunset Cocktail Reception

The sunset reception will be at ‘Ship of the Desert’, Trina’s beloved home in The Mesa neighborhood of Palm Springs. Designed in 1936 by architects Adrian Wilson and Erle Webster in a streamline Modern style with features that give semblance to a ship, the house received its moniker from Sunset magazine when they featured it on the cover of a 1937 issue.

Guests will enjoy expansive sunset views across the valley, and delicious hors d’oeuvres catered by Jake’s of Palm Springs. A rare opportunity to visit an extraordinary home, experience some of the ‘Palm Springs Style’ that Trina Turk so perfectly exemplifies and as a unique homage to the legacy of Vera Neumann.
